Grayson Marker Interview

 

I was invited to be interviewed about the work members of our community are doing to install a historical marker at the Grayson County Courthouse. Helen Johnson is a graduate student in Public History at Texas State University, doing her Individual Project on the events around the Sherman Riot of 1930. This is how I view this effort in terms of my understanding of God and our role as Christians, Grace UMC's vision, and the importance of learning from difficult history.
